Nach der Übernahme der Marke Tullamore D.E.W. und er neuen Gestaltung von Aufmachung und Flasche haben William Grant & Sons bereits im September 2012 exclusive into global travel retail, zusammen mit Gebr. Heinemann Duty Free diesen exclusiven 12 Jahre alten single malt als limited-edition expression herausgebracht. Der offiziell "Tullamore D.E.W. 12 Year Old Single Malt Sherry Cask" genannte Irish whiskey ist ein small batch von non chill filtered single malt Irish whiskey, finished in sherry casks, den es zunächst nur in allen Heinemann shops - in Flughäfen in Deutschland, Österreich, Norwegen, Ungarn und Slowakien - gab.
Der single malt stammt aus der Bushmills distillery und verbrachte 12 Jahre in Bourbon oak casks und wurde dann finished to perfection in sherry casks im Tullamore Dew warehouse in Clonmel.
